🍷What are your thoughts on the title and cover? Would you like to try this out? . . . 🍷Shelter From The Winter🍷 Brijit McRaith has been on the run for centuries. Pursued by her mad creator for most of her years as a vampire, she has finally found peace and sanctuary in her native Ireland. But a modern world on the brink of war has caught up with her and after decades of quiet, Brijit finds herself on the run again. To add to her personal chaos, she becomes smitten with mortal Kelly O'Donnell, and Brijit and her initial plans to lay low fall by the wayside. With an uncertain future ahead of her, can Brijit protect her newfound love from a world bent on destroying itself? . . This is quite an unique book and I admit I haven't read something like this before, the most favorite thing about it is the plotline, the plot is as unique as it could be, the storyline is a blend of fantasy with other elements of drama and thrill, it's not a typical thriller though but reading it gives out those dark classic vibes which are perfect for Halloween, this is one of those books that keeps the readers intrigued and for me it was the characters and plot. The book is filled with and turns, it's a full length novel but not even for a moment I felt it's long, though I definitely feel the language at times gets a bit dull and I am happy there are no such visble errors. I think the narration is intense where needed but it kinda losses it's track a bit, I am not why did I felt it but yes, I did. As I said, this is not a typical story so if you are reading it please be open to unique elements and themes, the character bondings are amazing, the way it proceeds is worth waiting for. I feel it's a book for curious readers as it takes a bit time for the framework to get established, not that it's slow paced, it's medium to high paced. . . For me, it turned out an amazing read, not doubt I took more time to complete because I really wanted to enter the settings of the book slow and didn't want to rush because honestly I would say, I haven't read a plot like this, it's quite intriguing and unpredictable. ☕What are your thoughts on the title and cover? Do you enjoy fast paced thrillers? . . . ☕Batch of '01☕ Rajat has a comfortable life and a loving wife. It has been 19 years since he left his hometown. One fine morning, a mail from his Rector beckons him back. His visit opens a Pandora's box with the realization - there is no escape. The town is at the epicenter of a secessionist movement demanding freedom of the lost kingdom. Rajat must encounter notorious elements who threaten the sanctity of the town even while battling horrors of his own past. . . This book was on my list from so long and I finally completed it, when I started reading it, I wasn't sure of what it will offer me but I am thrilled, reading it was extremely pleasurable and my experience with the storyline is so rich and good. The storyline is filled with huge twists and turns, it's a dark thriller which has a shade of fantasy-magic-politics to it and that's what kept me intrigued, it's a book that moved so fast, it's quite swift and while you read it, just let go yourself with the flow of the story and reading it made me realize that to completely enjoy it you need to be extremely vulnerable and ready to accept what comes in the way of the story and I just did it. It's naturally satisfying, it's thrilling in an unique way and definitely it's not a typical thriller but it's different, don't know how to present it but I have so many feelings for it, it's gripping, strong and unpredictable throughout. . . I took some time to adjust with the settings but once I was in, I was completely into the story. I will definitely recommend it, especially if you have a taste for uniquely written stoies then this is it. . Rating: 4.25🌟
☕What are your thoughts on the title and cover? Would you like to try this out? . . . ☕Shift Left☕ We pretend but we aren't happy and that's the truth. Unlearning is the new learning and I am sure you all agree too, Shift Left is a call to individuals to tweak those damaging dogmas and bring about a massive change within themselves. It urges the reader to unlearn irrelevant societal narratives, keeping media shenanigans at bay, managing our subconscious mind, judiciously indulging in ephemeral pleasures, learning that inter-personal relationships can be mended tactfully and in studying the nature of our fears. . . Shif Left is the complete blockbuster book which will shelf your mindset and it will change your thinking to a certain level as it did to me. I wasn't sure of what this book will serve me but when I started it, I understood it's something more than I thought it would be. I really am sure that we all have our different perspective on happiness and for each of us happiness means some of the other thing, happiness can't be same to two different individuals and being happy isn't just a state, it's a process, I am highly impressed by the presentation and content of the book, it took me bit time to settle and let me tell you, I read this book super slow, I read this book because I really wanted to consume content on a deeper level and I feel it's quite useful and unique. The book isn't something impractical or has unnecessary drama, it's so on point and quite well written. . . I feel it's quite well researched, it's a book that will change your perspective on happiness but you will know the logic/ science behind it. I am definitely satisfied and I feel it's totally a worthy read. Go for it. . Rating: 4.25🌟
🍒What are your thoughts on the title and cover? Would you like to try this out? . . . 🍒Between You and Me🍒 I read this book a few days back and I am a fan. The storyline revolves around a strong and dark corporate world filled with drama and stuff that can certainly change the lives of the characters within moments. This is a very strong story of pain, grief, strength, truth, love and obsession. One of my favorite character is Kajaal, a lead who is quite relatable, sturdy and a go character of the story. The story shifts from one setting to another which is done so swiftly and effortlessly which makes it more gripping and make things more connected. I think this book worked for me mostly because it has everything I was expecting, it has twists, a bit of drama and humour. . . I loved the way the author potrayed all the women characters, they are amazing and powerful and it's a great story, thought not a female centered read but I do like the female characters and it's definitely a thrilling read. I will definitely recommend it to everyone, anyone will enjoy it. . Rating: 4.5🌟
Interview with Jaclyn Sanchez, the author of "Notes Left in Time" 1 )Hello Ma'am, can you please introduce! yourself? So that the audience would get you know you better. Of Course! My name is Jaclyn! My family often called me Jaclina growing up, as a nickname, so you’ll sometimes see me go by that as well. 2 ) Congratulations for your recent book, what does the title says about it? I wrote the book from the Notes section of whatever phone, mainly my iPhone 📱. Hence, “Notes” Left” in Time. It was a definite process to write or in my case type each poem in my phone. 3 ) Do you remember what you wrote first? How did you develop interest in writing poetry? Yes! The first poem in my book is literally my first poem ever written at the age of 13. I remember laying in bed one evening and hearing it and putting it together in my head all at the same time. Pieces of me came together. I developed interest in poetry through being abused and experiencing life. 4 ) What is the central theme of your poems? Life around me and my own experiences! 5 ) What you usually do when you are not writing? What's sets of challenges usually arise while writing something that is filled with emotions? Drinking a lot of coffee and overthinking! Lol 😂 My biggest challenge while writing an emotional piece which I started about a month or so ago and took a break from, is separating myself from the moment in time I am writing about in depth. My next book is less poetry, more writing at length. 6 ) What the readers should expect while reading Notes Left in Time? Honesty, literal experiences, and hidden messages in each poem 7 ) Describe your books in three words each! Emotional, Lyrical (in ways ), and Freeing 8 ) Do you think nature inspires you while writing poems? Nature in the sense of life around me, yes. There were many poems I wrote at the last home I loved at in the woods on the water, and the home prior to that on the water as well. Truth be told, I’ll write wherever I am. I write in bed, I find inspiration everywhere at any given time. Check the complete interview on my blog! Link in bio!
☕What are your thoughts on the title and cover? Would you like to try this out? . . . ☕Young, Broke, and Educated☕ This is one of those books which has the power to change the world, page after page. I recently read this impactful book which talks on mostly talked topics but this time in a complete different way, the world is in debt, youngsters are in debt and people are educated enough but not employed. This book is a fresh talk on finances, it's done a way which is highly insignificant and appropriate. I really loved the bold writing and swift narration which makes it more captivating. . . Alexander Baima, a master in the field of eCommerce and early adopter of blockchain technology, walks you through, step-by-step, what the issues are and what needs to change to ensure that millennials and future generations have access to the same type of success that previous generations took for granted. . . Right from the very first page, I felt the author was very clear of what he wished to serve his audience, he has experience, he has worked has to know the truths and funda's and he is quite aware of how things really work, I really feel content is extremely rich, well researched and so well presented. This is a great book for millennials and youngsters, or anyone who is curious and really wants to help their own self. For me, this book turned out to be a gift and I will learn, cherish and gain from it till the end. I will definitely recommend it to you too! . Rating: 4.5🌟
🍒What are your thoughts on the title and cover? Do you ever feel low confident? How do you deal with it? . . . 🍒Little Miss Imperfect🍒 Little Miss Imperfect is about an adolescent girl that struggles with insecurity. She has two friends, who are sisters, named Insecurity and Confidence. Insecurity is a mean girl that appears to have it all together, but possesses a bad attitude. Her character fits who she is - Insecure! Deep down inside, Insecurity doesn't like herself, and she seizes every opportunity to say unkind words to Demi which causes her to experience feelings of pain and low self-worth. Insecurity's sister Confidence is always kind to Demi. Confidence suffers from a skin disease called Vitiligo. Confidence recognizes her flaws, but doesn't allow her skin condition to define her. She is a confident girl who accepts herself for who she is! Confidence always finds a way to lift Demi's spirits by speaking positively and encouraging her to always try to do her best. Demi eventually grows tired of Insecurity's bullying and put-downs and learns to accept herself for who she is because she'll never be Little Miss Perfect. . . 🍒Omg, wow what a thoughtful read. This is definitely one of the most impactful and meaningful children's book I have ever read. The book is filled with a lot of lessons that are so important for the kids to know and learn, confidence is the key to success and it's so important to feel happy in our own skin, this story teaches it all. Finding a good book with a great moral is extremely difficult but I am highly amazed by the author's depth of thinking and presenting the story in this format, I became a fan of the imagination and characters in the story. I never thought human qualities can be brought out as characters, this makes the story more easy to understand and highly impactful. I loved the storyline and storytelling which is so practical and I will definitely recommend it to everyone, especially to parents who want their kids to read books with fruitful and amazing themes. Go for it. . Rating: 4.75🌟
