Back in 2016, @kaepernick7 sparked a nationwide movement of athletes kneeling during the National Anthem as a demonstration against police brutality. Since that season, Kaepernick has not been able to sign with an NFL team and it is believed he was being blackballed by NFL owners who didn’t want the attention he would bring to their team. - Almost 4 years later, a nationwide outrage over police brutality has reignited and the #BLM movement has gone mainstream. According to NFL insiders, there is legitimate interest from at least a few teams in signing Kaepernick. Coincidence? We think not. - Colin Kaepernick is an example of someone who’s personal brand revolved around positive change for others rather than positive outcomes for himself. He may have had to sacrifice his career but he stuck to his beliefs, a core value of branding. - He may not be remembered as one of the greatest football players ever but will certainly be remembered for his greatness in a different regard✊🏾

We’ve been working on a mood board for a new restaurant client & want your opinion - Before we start any project we sit down with the client to find out why they started the business, what problems they plan on solving, and how they want to be perceived. We then take that information and use it to develop the brands image - These mood boards act as the soul of the brand and will drive our creative approach for all other marketing strategies. #Kanye 's partnership with #gap will go down in history as his greatest accomplishment - A product of manifestation, Ye has finally reached a long term deal with the fashion powerhouse and has further cemented his legacy. West found a way to tap into the obsession of one of the only audiences that has yet to fall for the superstar. (He lost this crowd back in '09 after his #TaylorSwift incident ) 👀 - Gap's stock rose 39% after the announcement, but Kanye's stock will be double that once the line is released. Is there an industry or type of consumer that he hasn't been able to tap into yet?

@pierrebourne just dropped #TLOP4 Deluxe Me on Juneteenth and we’re excited👀 - Pierre hasn’t dropped any new solo songs since The Life of Pierre in 2019, and the album being released on #Juneteenth brings awareness to the importance of this holiday, which isn’t as well known as it rightfully should be. - Juneteenth is so important because it marks the day that all Black Americans became free from slavery June 19th 1885 after Union General Gordon Granger led thousands of federal troops to Galveston, Texas to announce that the Civil War had ended. - There is so much work we all need to do to continue the fight for racial equality in America, but we’re stoked Pierre dropped us some heat to listen to while also bringing awareness to such an important day in history.

After a recent trip to CVS, our graphic designer Zoë had a recent discovery worth the share... - "I decided to stroll down the toy aisle because quarantine has me mad bored. I saw a product called “mini brands” and I love mini things, so I put it in my basket. - The toy company Zuru has teamed up with many well-known brands to create mini toy versions of popular items. I’m not hesitating when I say this is my favorite purchase of the month. - Not only does it bring me great joy to own a mini jar of Skippy peanut butter, but I am also extremely fascinated by this marketing move. I am contemplating why it makes me so happy and nostalgic to have these brands in toy form. I’ll think about it on my way to buy another five…" @princesspukeit - These well-known brands are taking an innovative approach to marketing both on and offline. These tiny toys will undoubtedly be seen on your Instagram feed in the near future... we're calling it 👀🍬
We came across a pop up on our timeline that said "Act now for Racial Justice" recently in our Instagram feed, and we are loving this new feature... - It's so cool to see how tech companies are using their platforms to spread more awareness. Instagram found new and innovative ways to give information to their audience right in their timeline, even if they don't follow any #BLM hashtags - easier access, higher result. - Keep spreading awareness. If Instagram can do it, no excuses why you can't! - #blacklivesmatter ♥️
“Now we got the power that we need to have, they don’t what us with it and that’s why they mad” - #lilbaby dropped the visual for “The Bigger Picture” today and it proves why he’s the voice of hip hop right now - The thing with branding is that authenticity will always come out on top. This track is no publicity stunt. Not an attempt to grab streams. It’s a conversation with his chore audience. As a brand you need to know what they need to hear - when you can’t find the words to express how you feel, you look to the people (or brands ) who you admire to express what your feeling for you. Lil Baby did just that.
